Julian Baggini

Julian Baggini has done more than almost any contemporary philosopher to carry the discipline to a general readership. Founding editor of The Philosophers' Magazine and Academic Director of the Royal Institute of Philosophy, he is the author of more than twenty books, among them the bestselling The Pig That Wants to Be Eaten and How the World Thinks, a global history that looks well beyond the Western canon. He was photographed in Bristol for Portraits of Philosophers, published by Platonic Press, a documentary series rendered in black and white.
